Bio

Muhammad A. Rushdi received B.Sc. (2001) and M.Sc. (2005) degrees in Biomedical Engineering and Systems and a B.Sc. degree in Mathematics (2003) from Cairo University, Giza, Egypt. He received M.Sc. (2012) and Ph.D. (2013) degrees in Computer and Information Science and Engineering from the University of Florida at Gainesville, FL, USA. He is currently an assistant professor at the Department of Biomedical Engineering and Systems at Cairo University, Giza, Egypt. His research interests include biomedical signal processing, machine learning, image processing, computer vision, and applied mathematics. He received research and development support from EACEA, ITIDA, Flat6Labs, and French Tech Ticket.
