Dr. Morettini main expertise is on the mathematical modeling of physiological systems. In particular, her research activity is mainly focused on mathematical models and methods for quantitative physiology related to glucose-insulin regulatory systems and its alterations leading to Type 2 Diabetes. She also focused on describing the effect of physical exercise on such mechanisms.
