I am involved in development and use of medical devices as Professional Designer

Bio

I am Italian, born and raised. I graduated in BioMedical Engineering at Politecnico di Milano in 2003 but started working in the industry in 2001 as a quality control operator and a R&D assistant. After graduation I worked in R&D and Regulatory in a SME in Italy, in the field of plastic single used devices (for example haemo-dialysis lines, nutrition lines, urine collection bags and similar). In 2012 I started by own consulting company, specializing in regulatory, quality, design transfer consultancy. My most important clients are start-up companies that are designing breakthrough medical devices and need assistance for certification and mass production. In early 2018 I founded my own innovative start-up: USE-ME-D. USE-ME-D provides services for R&D of medical devices, with a special focus on the prevention of human errors through Human factors Engineering methods.
