Bio

I took the PdD in Electrical/Biomedical Engineering in 1998 (University of Rochester, USA) and the Master degree in Electrical/Biomedical Engineering in 1993 (Politecnico di Milano, Itay). Since 2006 I join the Università Politecnica delle Marche where I am currently Associate Professor and President of the Unified Council of the Biomedical Engineering Degree. I teach the courses of Bioengineering and Biomedical Signal and Data Processing, manage the Cardiovascular Bioengineering Lab, and promote Erasmus exchanges. I co-founded B.M.E.D. Bio-Medical Engineering Development srl, an academic spin-off I served as CEO and President from 2012 to 2016. My research interests relate to processing and modelling of biomedical data, especially of the cardiovascular, metabolic and motor systems.
