Functional Requirements
The therapy device have a pneumatic system and a control panel in which the user can be able to switch the device on and off. The pneumatic system will have inflatables which will inflate and deflate in a sequential manner to bring about the compressions

Usability Requirements
The device is be comfortable to the patient putting into consideration egornomics . The device is user friendly thus the patient can use will minimal supervision from the medical practitioners. This will also enable one practioner to attend to several patient at a time.

Safety Requirements
The device ensures patient safety. The user manual is easily understood and alternatively the medical practitioners can train the adult users on how to operate the device. For those who can't be able to operate (e.g children & elderly) the medical practitioner will need to be there to do the procedure and monitor them closely.
