Nsikak-Abasi Aniefiok Etim obtained a Bachelor of Agriculture (B.Agric.)(First Class Honours) degree and was the best graduating student from the Department of Agricultural Economics and Extension, University of Uyo, Nigeria. He earned a Master of Science (M.Sc) degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He also earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) degree in Resource and Environmental Economics from Michael Okpara University of Agriculture. Umudike, Abia State, Nigeria. He is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Agricultural Economics and Extension, University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria and has 20 years teaching, research , mentoring and judging experience in the university.Dr. Etim has distinguished himself as an erudite scholar and a prolific writer. He has authored eighty (80) full length peer reviewed scientific articles in reputable national and international journals and 2 book chapters with citations more than 580 ( h-index 14 and i10-index 21). He is a widely traveled scholar whose researches have won several awards, scholarships and grants from many international organizations. Etim was selected to serve as advisory mentor in the Queen’s Young Leaders Mentoring Program, University of Cambridge, United Kingdom.In 2018, Dr. Etim was a recipient of the award Open Source Leader by Commonwealth 100. Etim was also chosen by the Commonwealth Youth Council and Commonwealth Youth Gender Equality Network (CYGEN), United Kingdom in 2019 to serve as a mentor for young women in Commonwealth Mentorship Program.
