Support to Laboratory Practice

Invasive methods for vagina sample collection (swaps and speculum) are not well suited for children and virgins. There is also the discomfort that comes with having to stay naked amidst male medical personnel for this procedure. There is a need for a more comfortable and convenient approach which not only considers age and sexual status but also minimises sample contamination and provides predetermination of infection type before laboratory analysis.
