Real-time Radiation Exposure Badge device intends to provide real time information on radiation exposure levels enabling radiographers to take necessary precautions.

Radiation badges are worn by radiographers to monitor exposure levels to radiations. Currently the available badges requires a radiographer to take the badge after sometime to be assessed on amount of radiation exposure.

Radiations are a risk factor when it comes to causes of cancer. Having a real time radiation badge will minimize chances of radiographers being exposed to prolonged radiation that can increase risks of cancer.
