This project proposes the development of implants minimally invasive and customized made through additive manufacturing for bone reconstruction of segmental defects caused by Ewing sarcoma.
The use of scaffold implants is proposed; in addition to promoting reconstruction, they also promote effective osseointegration and bone tissue regeneration. Furthermore, the use of biocompatible materials can achieve better results and a better recovery rate for patients, improving their comfort and quality of life.
With this project, treatment and reconstruction costs compared to traditional methods can be reduced, and better long-term results can be achieved.
