Project description

This project aims to provide a means to succesfully replicate in-vivo conditions on an in-vitro medium, for the reasearch of the viability of Magnetic Particles as treatment for tumoral growths. Using the revolutionary tissue's engineering technology of Organ-on-a-chip, the design through the use of Sterolitography, will provide a medium for the realisation several experiments on paralel in the same petri plate.

The main objectives of this project are as follows:

  • Provide an easily replicable lab equipment capable of studying tumoral cells.
  • Design a medium that allows several gradients of cell concentration on the same plate.
  • Provide several cellullar scaffolds that complement the design of the petri's plate.
  • Reduce the necessity of animal use in laboratory research
