Rafiki project is a downloadable software with an objective of improving large scale community screening for hyperternsion and diabetes mellitus and referring at risk populations for objective screening inorder to improve sustainable early case detection and optimal treatment so as to eliminate or reduce hypertension and diabetes related complication that contribute to disabilities among the elders. The focus population is any Tanzanian above 25 years of age with risk factors or being a caretaker to an elderly with substantial risks for the diseases. The project will start with the urban areas and scale up to the ruarl areas. Individuals will be able to identify themselves with selected sample images relating to established heights and weights so as to estimate BMI. Ones who are overweight shall be invited to objective screening. And enroll on treatment nd follow up accordingly.
