Voting

This voting section can help you to identify the best solutions for your medical device. Please use it for creating polls and discussion both on general (e.g. use of piezoelectric sensors) and/or on specific topics (e.g. use of LM7805 voltage regulator), in order to have a more clear idea of your concept, which will be described in the next "Concept description" section.

Resin - 3D Printing Material

Advantages: High Detail: allows for intricate designs with high resolution. Strength: Certain engineering resins offer superior mechanical properties, beneficial for high-stress applications. Smooth Surface Finish: Resin prints typically have an excellent surface finish right off the printer. Disadvantages: Cost: Resin materials are generally more expensive than PETG. Safety Concerns: Handling uncured resin requires precautions due to its toxicity and the need for proper ventilation. Brittleness

PETG - 3D Printing Material

Advantages: Durability: PETG is known for its toughness and impact resistance. Flexibility: It provides a balance of rigidity and flexibility, ensuring comfort without compromising support. Ease of Printing: PETG is user-friendly in terms of printing, allowing for efficient production with standard FDM printers. Disadvantages: Surface Finish: While decent, PETG may require post-processing for a smoother appearance. UV Sensitivity: Prolonged exposure to UV light can degrade PETG over time.
