Step by step integration of all parts
1. Fabricate the Main Body
Cutting: Use 3D printing to fabricate the main body according to your design specifications.
Smoothing Edges: After cutting, use sandpaper or a file to smooth out any rough edges to prevent discomfort during use.
2. Prepare the Straps
Length and Width: Cut the strap material to appropriate lengths, ensuring they are long enough to secure the brace comfortably
Attachment Points: Determine where the straps will attach to the main body. These points should be strategically placed to provide even pressure and support.
3. Attach Straps
Fastening Method: If using Velcro, sew or glue one side of the Velcro to the strap and the corresponding side to the main body.
Secure Attachment: Ensure that all straps are securely attached and can withstand tension when pulled.
4. Final Assembly
Check Fit: Once all components are attached, try on the wrist brace to ensure it fits snugly but comfortably around the wrist without pinching. Adjust straps to check their effectiveness in securing the brace without excessive tightness.
