Functional requirements
The room should be able to reduce noise(sound) from the surroundings regions of the ward. It should either reduce, absorb or even completely block noise from the surroundings.

Usability requirements
Since noise can affect patients physiologically and psychologically, the design should be adopted in the normal as well as special wards. The nurses can therefore get a healthy working environment as patients get a healthy healing environment.
