Instructions for fabrication of prototypes

In general, the downloaded stl files may be additively manufactured (or "3D printed") by employing a slicer, the software that transforms 3D CAD models generating layers and printing paths. The created sliced geometry and related file is readable by the actual printing technology and the prototypes may be created, in general, by three-dimensional, layer-by-layer deposition of material. The sharing of stl files (in standard tessellation language format) is convenient, as it can be understood by the practical totality of printing technologies.
