Automatic Stand Adjustment - Instead of letting the user adjust the device stands manually, we will incorporate a firmware that controls the adjustment on a press of a button. This adjustment is meant to enable the user massage his/her feet at different heights for comfort and convenience purposes. Since manual adjustment can be difficult, especially for patients with non-functional arms or those that can't bend easily such as pregnant women, the automatic stand adjustment will come in handy.

Pneumatic system - It will comprise Arduino microcontroller, which apart from controlling the sequential opening and closing of the air valves from the pneumatic system, it will also be used to control the amount of pressure inflating the airtight PVC bag. This way, the user will be able to adjust the intensity of the massage depending on the needs. Also, since this device will serve different users with different leg sizes, pressure control will come in handy to ensure that those with thinner legs use lower pressure. Therefore, we will feed a firmware into the Arduino microcontroller to make this function possible.
