CAD models of the different components of the UV-C sterilizer and of the personal protective equipment (shield) can be found in the repository. The initial validation prototypes can be built by fused deposition modeling (simple 3D printing) of the devices structures, although larger scale production would probably rely on injection molding or thermoforming.

Production will also require from commercial UV-C lamps, as detailed in WP3 and WP4 (Hardware-commercial elements). An initial selection of Philip's kits has been made and it is expected to establish a partnership with Philips through its African Innovation Programme, for reaching production.
